If you find yourself wondering, "Where is everyone?," that's a very good question. We actually eloped. If you have been poking around the site, you may know already that we were both married before. We both had wedding ceremonies and the big bash afterward. This time, it couldn't have been more different for the both of us, in absolutely every respect.
We chose to elope because we wanted a much more intimate and personal feel to it. We wanted it to be OUR day. We each wrote our own vows, it was just family and my maid of honor. Kurt's dad married us. Kurt even cried. Shhh... don't tell him I said that. ;) But he did.
Anyway, In hindsight, I think the only thing I would have changed is having a videographer. This was all shot with cell phones. That being said, there is something about it being "lived" and being just in our memories that adds to the intimacy of it all.

Then there was Wedding 2.0. We absolutely loved eloping and would recommend it to anyone. However, when we eloped, regrettably, we didn't even have my parents there. We, my parents included, obviously, really wanted to remedy that void. What better way than Wedding 2.0??!
We received our pictures back from the photographer just before Thanksgiving and decided to make a video of the pictures of our special day with family and wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving with theirs. Here's the video...
