A little peek at the man
I don't know where to even being, to be honest, or as my step-daughters would say, "TBH." I don't know what I'd do without him. I'm not even entirely sure how I got here, how I made it this far without him behind me. Not to detract from my parents, my friends, and my own tenacity, but he does everything for me. He's evidence that chivalry (not to be confused with etiquette... at all...) is very much alive and well. Honestly, he's SO above and beyond in the caretaker aspect of husbandry (not farming) that it really is incredible.
Now, I suppose to be fair, his "etiquette" does very much exist. It's just more like a faucet in that its typical state of being is off, at which point he could make a conscious decision to turn it on... In theory. In practice, that "on" is more like...
The type of "on" that could never be confused with...
If you would like to familiarize yourself a little with his antics and would like to see this giant sack of charm be the man-child he really is, here are a couple ways to peek through the looking glass. Enjoy!
Let's just say he's many things and can go by many names, but the combination of his pithy wit, use of the F-Bomb, tactlessness, British SLEDGEHAMMER sarcasm...

(Okay, not so much Thor. Maybe it's more like this...)
... and aggressively low maintenance approach to life has helped mold the foundation that would later lead to the pinnacle of his masterpiece contribution to the word "majestic..."
I know, ladies... I know. He got me too.
It's crazy to think that when we're young we have this vision of a prince, or at least our idea of such, the Disney knight in shining armor if you will, as the man we're going to marry one day - our Superman.
Then one day, walking through the parking lot, you see him - the future. Your future. Your Superman
And, as the saying goes, "that's all she wrote."

The accuracy of that "shake weight meets spandex" imagery aside, and while there is no such thing as a "perfect" man, he truly is my Superman, ... my rock, and I don't know what I would do without him.
Now, for accuracy's sake, for those of you that are familiar with the movie Hancock, that's probably a much better depiction of MY superman.
Not always presentable but priceless when in a pinch. lol I don't know how he does it, how he's always there, how he always finds a way to get us through whatever it is, but he does. The movie's analogous reflection of US doesn't end there by a long shot. I've always been one that believes in destiny, in "the one," in soulmates. In the movie, Charlize Theron says,
... and sometimes it feels like that. However, whoever built us has quite the sense of frickin’ humor because amongst other things, we've been known to spar from time to time.
lol, even so, if you were to ask me...
I'd still say...
And similarly still, I never hesitate to remind him...
